Frequently Asked
Questions
Q: Why are the images so small?
A:
All images
in the game are randomly selected from pages on the World Wide Web, some of which
are protected by copyright law. Out of respect to the owners of copyrights,
the ESP game does not display full-sized images.
Q: Are all the images in the game safe for children?
A:
The vast majority of the
images in the game are safe for a general audience. We work hard to remove images
with
mature content from the game. Unfortunately, there is no way to ensure with
100% accuracy that all mature content will be removed from the game.
Q: Does the ESP game work in Mac OS and Linux?
A:
Not always. The ESP game is
written as a
Java applet, and the versions of Java included in some of the browsers for Mac OS or
Linux
are slightly incompatible with the current implementation of the game. We are
working hard to make the game available everywhere.
Q: When I click "Play Now," I get a new window with a small "x" in it, indicating
that my browser cannot display something.
Can I not
play the game?
A:
The ESP game is written as a Java applet and requires your
browser to support Java. Some browsers do not automatically include Java.
If you only
see an "x" in the game window, you probably need to install Java for your browser.
